(no) Do I go out with my friends? (yes) Do I sleep a lot? (yes) -Finally, i write the word on board and drill it chorally and individually.
-I show them the photos and the words. -I do one of them and show them. -Then, I ask Ss to match the words with the photos together. -While they are on the task I monitor them and help them if necessary. -Finally, I check with the whole class.
-I show the some slides. -Before showing the word I elicit it from my Ss and then show them on the board. -I ask them some simple questions about the photos. -Finally , I drill the pronunciation with them and make sure everyone in the class pronounce the words correctly.
-I aks Ss a simple question about Ruby and Phill's free time. -I give them time to find this part in the text individually. -Then , Ss check their answers in pair and justify their reasons. -Finally, I check with the whole class to make sure about their answers.
-I give Ss a list of sentences that they must decide whether they are true or false. -They do this part on their own. -Then,they pair check and I monitor them. -I check their answers while they are on the task. -Finally, I check with the whole class. -I also ask Ss to come and write them on the board.
- Before I start this activity I drill the words in HO1 one more time again. -I give them a piece of paper with a question on it. What do you do in your free time? -I ask them to write five positive and negative sentences about their free time individually. -Then I monitor them and write down any mistakes I notice and correct them later on. -I ask them to read their sentences for their partners. -As they've been together for the whole session I can ask them to stand up and change their partner and read their sentences one more time again. -Finally, I ask some of them to read one of their sentences out loud.
- I myself mime a word and ask Ss what I am doing. -Then I ask a S to the front and tell her word to mime. -Other Ss must guess the word and write it on the board. -Next, they can play this game in pair.
