Procedure (34-50 minutes)
I will make review of the previous lesson and will ask the Ss what they're doing during the week. In this part the Ss will have the opportunity to speak and will practice fluency of language.
In this part of the lesson I will teach the class present simple negative on the w/b and the students have to use the same structure with other sentences (exercise 5). They are allowed to do this task with their partners. To check their understanding I will go around and check the students problems. If there are any will try to solve them.
In this part of the lesson the Ss have to use present simple negative in form of writing and than practicing the language with their partners. I will do exercise 6 a)1. with a student as an example for the rest of the Ss and later the Ss have to do this task on their own. Than the Ss will read their sentences to their neighbours and the partner will agree or disagree with them.
I this part of the lesson I will introduce yes/no questions and short answers on the w/b and will practice this sructure with the Ss in exercise 7. The Ss have do this exersize first on thier own and then check with their partners. I will clarify and simplify the sentence structure on board and will let the Ss write their sentences on board.
In this part of the lesson the Ss have to use the target language and the new grammar stucture and have to practice that in exer.8. They have to fill in the gaps using the target language. They can do this task in pairwork but if there is time I will let them do this task first on their own than compare with partner.
The Ss will listen to the recording exercise 8 and be able to check their answers. Then they will listen again and will repeat each sentence while I will focus Word stress and pronunciation of "do you".
If there is time I will let the students put the uncorrect sentences in correct order (WB p17 ex.4).
