Procedure (40-56 minutes)
Ss are told a made-up story that has irregular verbs in it. For the second time, Ss are asked to recognize the irregular verbs and say present forms of the verbs.
Ss are asked to put past forms of the verbs on the wall under certain categories. They will do that in the groups of 4. ICQs: Are you going to put sentences on the wall?(yes) ARE you going to work in groups?(yes)
Ss are asked to put sentences under the appropriate words like when, before, after etc in groups.
Ss are asked to read a passage on page 27 and say sentences to emphasize some words.
Ss are asked to read the passage on page 153 to their groups
Ss are asked to sit in a circle and read either the story on page 27 or 153 to their classmates.
Ss are asked to choose one of three stories on page 27 and tell their groups their stories.
