Procedure (36-46 minutes)
T shows the "Brands in Turkey" presentation ask questions. - Which of these brands do you like most? Why? - Which brands' designs do you like? Why? - Do you know any designers? Do you have any favorite designers?
-T shows the pictures of the target vocabulary from the interview. Ss will stand up if they know the word, they will keep on sitting if they don't know and raise hand if they think they know. Then students will all stand up and start to walk around and talk each other, try to learn the definitions for these words or the word itself. This will help teacher to understand students' background about the topic.
T gives the "Exercise-1" and "Exercise-3" handouts to students. (Students fold the exercise-3 to do it later) T asks sts to read the interview quickly and try to find these vocabulary from the text. Sts write their guesses on the handout (1) and check with parnters. Drill and WCFB Students do the "Exercise-2" individually, check with their group and and WCFB
Sts read the interview again and complete the missing parts with the sentences given. They check with their partners. (Answers: E - B - F - A - D -C) WCFB
Teacher gives the "Exercise-4" handout to groups of two. Sts practise making questions from promts and describe events, contrasting the present perfect and past simple. Each student writes questions to interview with her/his partner. They ask and answer each others questions. Teacher monitors and do error correction at the end of the activity.
