Main Aims

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-10 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T will greet ss. T will ask ss previous lessons and want them to speak and make sentences with new words they have learned.

Test #1 (8-10 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

T will give the ss the handouts to see if they have any background knowledge of the subject. Moreover T will want them to underline some and any.

Teach (15-20 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

After getting back the handouts T will start teaching using tangible examples by showing the objects present there. Ss will grasp the issue by listening attentively.

Test #2 (8-10 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

T will give ss a task including the new taught grammar to get sure of their comprehension of the new subject.

Free practice (13-15 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

In order to provide ss with free practice of the target language T will ask ss to start speaking according to a topic suggested by one of the ss. T will want them to use simple past, simple present, simple future, and some and any.
