Procedure (28-44 minutes)
At this stage T shows a picture of a sea and temperature which shows the changes around the world. T builds the context from this stage. Then she asks Ss to discuss this picture in their group.
At this stage T plays the listening for questions. Before that She will explain the questions (ICQs). after that they have to check their answers with their partners and T asks for feedback.
At this stage, T writes the two sentences from listening (marker sentence).
At this stage, T clarifies the two sentences on board and ask Ss about the differences in meaning. Then she gives the Ss the form and ask Ss to write the form individually. then they check the answers with their group and finally they have to write in the gap fill on board. After that T drills the pronunciation and then back-chaining.
At this stage, T gives the handouts for controlled practice. (6 sentences) Then Ss check their answers in their groups and T asks for feedback. (on W/B)
At this stage Ss practice, the semi-controlled practice with the questions under the paper. Handout 3. (alternative stage)
Finally, here Ss practice the language that they learned from today's lesson. they have to write some notes and they change their partners and aks each other about the Friday. Saturday and Sunday's Weather in Istanbul.
