Procedure (31-51 minutes)
T Shows learners the logo of ‘Facebook’ and ask them to brainstorm what information they would include in a profile.
T gives Sts HO that has been adapted to matching activity taken from p19 ex.1 and 2 and ask students to do the matching activity individually and then check in pairs.
Highlight the target language for this lesson – questions about personal information. Check that they understand the meaning. 1-What’s her name? what's her job? ...etc
T Elicits the answers to the questions in ex. 3 Is Ellie from America ? Is she from Spain ? Is she from England? and put them on the WB and Drill for pronunciation
T shows TL on WB highlight on board and drill with Sts
T gives Sts Ho from pg. 19, ex. 4. T ask Sts to answer indiv. then Pair-check. Then drill answers with whole class feedback.
T gives Students HO pg 19 ex 5 HO. T ask student to answer the gap fill in pairs. Check answers with whole class.
T gives Sts HO taken from TsB pg. 140 and tell students that this is their new identity and ask student mingle. learners will use questions and ask/give personal information based on cards.
