Procedure (35-45 minutes)
Start reviewing the vocabulary words. write them on the board, ask students to think of anything related to these words, like a word map. Write it n the board. Then ask them to volunteer, each two, give them two rulers, as soon as I say the word, they have to find its synonym, or the opposite.
Start with the jigsaw reading, let students read, and then check questions for comprehension. Then on the board, construct with them, a small summary so you can write on the board and they can copy onto their copybooks.
Give them around 3 comprehension questions they can copy on their copybooks and answer them. Feedback to the whole class after they finish.
Divide the girls into 10 groups. Ask them to summarize what you will give them. 1st group: p.72, 1st line till B. 2nd group: p.73, line 26-46. 3rd group: p. 74, line 46-78. 4th group: p.75, line 79-121. 5th group: p.76, line 122-160. 6th group: p. 77, line 162-210. 7th group: p.79, line 211-248. 8th group: p. 80, line 250-293. 9th group: p.82 10th group: p.83
Solve the exercise on page 85. Let them write it on their copybooks. give this around 10 minutes. After this, do the Kahoot, with them. Do the summary of It lives.
