In pairs, students check their answers. ask the students to report their ideas to the class. make sure they justify their answers to check their understanding of the text.

Ask the students to gist read the article about the English and answer the following question: Does the writer think English people are unfriendly? why? / why not? in pairs, students check their answers. Invite some students to share their ideas.

In groups, students discuss whether the article has changed their opinion of the English in any way and state their reasons. Also, students discuss whether people from their country have the same norms or not. Hold a discussion with the students.
