Procedure (41-46 minutes)
The picture will be shown to Ss and they will talk about it in pairs using a question: How would you feel and what would you like to do if you lived in this house? Then I will elicit some answer but tell the Ss that you can't do all those things because you have to do a test first. I will use this context in the freer practice too.
The first test HO will be distributed among the Ss and they will start answering it. When they're done, they will have to stand up, check their answers with some other people in the classroom and try to ask each other about the answer of the questions. I will ask the Ss who have answered the questions to help the ones that haven't.
In this stage of the lesson, Ss will be given a HO. They will complete it individually and check their answers with their partners. The answer key will be provided to make sure everyone has the correct answers. They might have to refer to test 1 to correct their mistakes (if any). I will write two example sentences on the board and go through their pronunciation and form.
There are two pieces of exercise here but I guess there will only be time for one of them. The other one will be treated as a homework. They will pair-check and some nominated Ss will come to the board to write the correct answers for FB.
The same picture will be shown and then the Ss will see an example paragraph. The paragraph is about childhood activities. Once they've read it, they will highlight the ideas discussed in it and start to write their own paragraph. They will have 7 to 8 minutes to write. When they're ready with their paragraphs, they'll mingle and ask questions and give answers using the TL and try to find someone in the class who had the same childhood activities as they did. There will be both hot and delayed error correction.
