Procedure (31-45 minutes)
-have the projector ready to use in different stages of the lesson -project a picture of different plastic products (OHP) -GW (3 ss) -make a list of all plastic products you use in a typical day -monitor WC FB
-PW -The article you are going to read talks about ‘the infinite number of plastic products that fill our lives.’ -read some lines from the article -what do you think they are talking about? -ICQ Do you write about these lines? [No] Do you discuss with you partner? [Yes] Are the lines from the text that you are going to read? [Yes] -pass out HO1 -ss predict the content of the text in pairs -monitor -WC FB
-then read through the article quickly. You have 3 minutes -which of your predictions were correct? -which were not? -face down the HOs -ICQ: How much time do you have?
