To provide detailed reading practice using a text about We're twins in the context of like-s and don't like-s

To provide clarification of twins, different, similar, the same and both in the context of we're twins

To provide review and practice of object pronouns in the context of we're twins
Procedure (45-55 minutes)
Show the pictures of famous twins and write on the board "They are ........ " Ask them to fill in the blank by supporting with more information. Their parents are same and they were born on the same date. If they cannot find it write on the board and ask them to work in pairs and ask eachother if they know any twins or if they have a twin sister or brother. They have one minute to complete it and then get answer from a few of the students.
Post the pictures of famous twins on the board and create context over them. Write sentences with blanks to make Ss guess the target words.
Assign roles to students as Hugo and Adam and ask ss to read the paragraphs and find one thing they both like. After they find it ask them to share it with their partner who is the other character. Show an example of the language they need to use. "We both like......" Check the answers.
Deliver the worksheet and and ask them to read and complete the chart on the worksheet which is about what Adam and Hugo like and what they don't like. After they did it for the paragraph they have they ask questions for the character they don't have to their partners and write the answers. Show the anwer key on the board and they check it.
Give all students the other part of the text and write one of the sentences from the paragraph on the board and do it as an example. Ask them to find these object pronouns refer to. Explain "refer to" in the example that you do on the board. After they completed ask them to compare their answers and then ask them the answersone by one.
Deliver the worksheet for the activity that they need to ask eachother if they like ......... and ask them to stand up and ask as many people as possible.
Write their errors and mistakes on the board ask them to try the errors in pairs and get the answers. If they cannot find the errors, correct them.
