Description

In this lesson Jobs will be taught. The lesson starts with pictures to enable attract students . After that an online matching game will be played. A puzzle is goint to follow the matching gam and finally " What's his/ her ocupation?" game with puppets will be played.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Flash cards are going to be shown. Students try to guess job from picture and then vocabulary is going to be presented. Drilling activity is going to provide.

Exposure (3-4 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through a crossword puzzle

Students are going to practice target vocabulary through an online matching game.

Useful Language (2-4 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

Students are gong to try to solve a crosword puzzle in peers, it is assumed to hep the prouctive task.

Productive Task(s) (10-16 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

"It" is going to be chosen by teacher. (a ball may be used to make it more fun). It comes to board and close her/his eyes, teacher is going to put puppets on the table and mix them, it is going choose a puppet randomly and show the pupet to class, then it is going to ask to clas "what is my job, help me please" by using puppet. A volunteer is going to be chosen by teacher and she/he is going to give a tip to it. It is going to try to guess the job of the puppet.

Feedback and Error Correction (5-10 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

The mistakes are going to be noted down and written on the board at the end. Error corection is going to be done all together with the assistance of teacher.
