To provide fluency speaking practice in a conversation in the context of social custom in Thailand.
Procedure (22-33 minutes)
I will start the lesson with writing examples about the functional language ,and I will ask them what's the speaker wants to say? Can you do me a favor?(asking for a favor) Please will you accept my apology.(Apologizing) I promise not to leave without you.(promising) It's important to take your shoes off.(generalisations) Then I will tell them the meaning of generalisations .
I will ask the Ss to to underline three more generalisations introduced by (it's) from the previous passage.
I will write( Generalisations ) in the board and ask the students :what's the meanin g of (generalisations)? a written or spoken statement in which you say or write that something is true all of the time when it is only true some of the time.
