To provide gist, specific information and detailed listening practice using a text about true story in the context of David's grandmother when she moved to live in London and what happens with her .
Subsidiary Aims

To provide clarification of new words and phrases like (servant - rich -too many - came back -etc ) in the context of the true story of David's grandmother when she moved to live in London and what happens with her .
Procedure (33 minutes)
T will ask the SS about What did you kno about the life of your grandparents ? Did they had an interesting life stories ? # elicit some answers from the students . #expressing enjoyment engage in the speaking .
T will tell the SS that are going to listen to a true story about David's grand mother moving to love in London but before listening look at these to pictures and discuss in pairs in Q A&B ? elicit some answers and telling the that we are not going to know now but they will know after listening .
T will ask the SS to listen the first part of the story and try to think what the main idea of it ? #Elicit some answers from them and provide some examples and tell them that most of their answers are correct .
T will ask the SS to listen to the A.T part 2 and try to answer these to question . T write questions on the board 1-how old was David's grandmother when they left her in London ? 2-did they came back to her again ?
T will ask the SS about the meaning of some difficult words like ( servant - rich - community - went away ) then elicit the meaning from them ask CCQU'S like RICH : does he has a lot of money ? servant : is it a job ? is it good for rich people ? community : are we live in it ? went away : are they staying with her or leaving ? too many : is it good to have too many haters in you life ?
T will tell the students that they are going to listen to the whole story part by part and read the statements while they listening to mark them true or false ask icqu's # are you going to listen to the whole story or just the first part ? are you going to just read the statements or mark them with true or false ? after that some answers ask about how we could make the false statements true . give them feed back .
after finishing the listening part if we still have time ask the students to discuss in pairs about question number 3 monitoring and check their pronunciation to provide them with feed back after listening to some of their interesting ideas
