To provide detailed reading practice using a text about adrenaline in the context of extreme sports

To provide fluency speaking practice in a describing and guessing different activities in the context of text
Procedure (40-47 minutes)
students will be show four different GIF images about extreme sports. teacher will ask questions to the ss about the images and try to elicit the word adrenaline from the students.
Teacher will arrange students in groups and students will discuss which sport or is the most dangerous or which sport give people the most adrenaline.
Teacher will show ss a headline Deadmike.com and a picture of a skydiver. students will then think of questions that they would like to know based on the headline, teacher will write ss questions on the board. SS will read text, Ss will then see if they can answer any of the questions they written down based on the text.
Ss will be given sentences related to text with factual errors in them. ss will read sentences teacher will then tell ss to read the text again and correct any wrong factual information. Ss will then peer check answers. teacher will double check answers with students.
students will discuss if they would do a parachute jump or any other extreme sport for either: fun, for charity , for money or just never do any of them. then students will do a sport guessing game ss will work in groups one person in a group will choose a card that has information about a sport on it, students will ask the card holder questions to try to guess which sport card he is holding. student will take turns holdng cards and guessing the names of the sports.
