By the end of the lesson SS wil be learned and practised present perfect continous tense in travelling context.

To provide accuracy speaking practice in a conversation in the context of travelling.
Procedure (34-50 minutes)
T greets SS T shows photos of herself and elicit the word ''travelling'' T asks SS ''how long have they been living in Izmir'' and presents TL
T will present an activity for SS in order to expose them to the TL The SS will work in pairs T monitores
T will get the focus of the SS to the TL
T will show the the rules of Present Perfect Tense the SS T will use the example 'I have been travelling' and show MP to the SS T gives examples : I have been travelling for 2 years She has been travelling for two years T asks SS 'How long have you been taking English classes?' examples : Simge has been taking English classes for.... T shows different usage of Present Perfect Tense : Recent events : I haven't been sleeping well. Action that started in the past but actively continues : I have been studying English for 5 years
SS will be asked questions from an activity SS wil check in pairs FB: Answer key will be given to check their answers
SS will be given a teacher made exercise They will work individually,then they will check in pairs FB: Answer key will be given to check their answers
The teacher will give her students more free time and they are going to work alone and write 3 sentences with the present perfect continuous, and then, they will pair check each other's answers The teacher will be away and give help when needed only
