Procedure (42-45 minutes)
students will be shown gif images teacher will model first sentences in order to show the meaning of varıous adverbs of frequency. ss will then say sentences about the pictues using adverbs of frequency. Teache will try to elicit different sentences from students.
ss will be shown form and adverbs of frequency and phrases and some example sentences and also how to form how often questions. teacher will ask ss students questions using adverbs of frequency and phrases about daily life and elicit answers from students. ss will then do a writing dictation race teacher will hang sentences around the room. students will get into groups, chose a secratary, then get into lines one student will try to memorize the sentence and dictate it to the secratary. ss will have 20 seconds to try to memorize the setence then will dictate setences to secratary before they switch.
tt will show students hand out and give instructions ss will first read sentences ss will listen to sentences then use the words in brackets to complete the sentence accordingly. ss will work in pairs and practice saying the sentences.
SS will be given a handout where they have to complete sentences using adverbs of frequency so they make the sentences true according to them. ss will then will then will then work in pairs and try to make their own sentences using all the adverbs of frequency. teacher will monitor students and try to elicit more responses from ss
students will be given a hand out. SS will first read sentences in pairs. students will then re-write the sentences using the apprpropriate time expression from the table in the handout. students will then peer check answers teacher will briefliy show answers on the board. students will then will then choose some questions from the handout and take turns asking and answeriing questions. student will then give given a handout where ask people questions and write down their names. ss will try to write down as many names as possible.
