Procedure (37-51 minutes)
Post a picture of a conflict going on between two people. -Get some WC FB about what they think is going on?. -Could the conflict be culture related? - Let them know that it is possible it is culture related. There could have been a cultural misunderstanding. -Post questions regarding conflict. -What would you do if a colleague criticises your work or boss... -Have the students answer the questions in pairs. -Get some WC FB
-Have Ss read the topic summaries. -Explain that they will listen to the interview and then match each section to topics a-d -Have Ss listen to the interview -Have the students match the sections 1-4 to topics a-d - WCFB ------------------------------------------------------------ HO part b -Have students work in pairs to complete each sentence in part b of assignment HO - 1. a 2. b 3. b 4. d -Have Students listen again to check -------------------------------------------------------------------- IF TIME -Have Ss discuss ideas for part C in pairs before sharing as a class -Ask the Ss if they agree or disagree with Cigdem
