To provide gist and detailed reading practice using a text about fears and phobias in the context of living in fear

To provide clarification and practice of clarify some word forms of nouns, adj, negative adj, in the context of fear and phobia in the context of fears and phobias
Procedure (31-47 minutes)
I will introduce the word fear through visuals of a girl and a tall building. I elicit the word fear by showing students that my friend is stressful because she needs to go up the building. After eliciting, I will ask students to discuss with their partners: Do you have any fears? Do you know anyone who has any fears? Students can use the ideas that are on the board.
-Provide students with the ex.1 reading questions. -Tell them to fold the paper -show them that they need to discuss these questions in pair. -whole class feedback
1. -Show students they need to read the text individually in 2 minutes -Then show students answer the questions that we did before the reading. -PW Check -provide answers 2. -show students they need to match the questions. -pw check -pick 5 random people and ask them to come to the board and stick the answers
