Procedure (36-46 minutes)
Distribute questions to ss. Ss to ask each other these questions in pairs and write their partners answers What time do you get up everyday? What time does your husband/wife go to work? What time do you have dinner? What time do your children go to bed?
Ss read the two text first about Laura and then underline the verbs in pairs. Explain the task Give the materials Ss do the task Early finishers write their verbs on the board. Take w/c FB. Ss discuss in small groups what the difference between verbs in the first and second text. Elicit the answers from the ss. Take w/c FB
Write the sentences from the grammar box and elicit the rule from ss Write more example and elicit more rules for present simple. Draw a table and elicit the forms of grammar such as positive, negative and questions Ss listen and repeat the pronunciation of sounds of words in the box (play and pause the cd for ss to be able to repeat) Correct any mistake immediately when they are repeating the words Ss listen and add the words in the right column in ex.2 Ss peer check Take w/c FB

Regrouping the ss. Ss write a guessing text which is similar to the one they read, about their partners who are sitting next to them. Explain the task Ss write the text. Monitor and give help to ss. Ss check with their partner if what they wrote is true or not. Monitor.
