Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T displays the picture on page 21 and asks T: LOOK AT THE PICTURE AND TELL ME ABOUT IT. DO THEY KNOW EACH OTHER? ARE THEY FRIENDS, HUSBAND AND WIFE, GIRLFRIEND BOYFRIEND? WHERE ARE THEY? WHAT DO THEY TALK? WHAT DOES SHE HAVE IN HER HAND?

Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible
