Procedure (40-60 minutes)
Stage 1 (Lead-in) (10-15 minutes) • To introduce the lesson and make it interesting for SS
Give the SS an idea about the lesson Act out and elicit Ask questions What am I doing When can I use this words
Stage 2 (Match Vocab) (10-15 minutes) • To provide controlled practice that can be applied in the context of daily routines
Give the SS handouts and match the words with the pictures. Ask them questions about their daily routines Improve oral fluency
Stage 3 ( Contolled Practice ) (10-15 minutes) • Improve new vocab with GW
Form SS into 2 groups Show them the word and get them to find right match
Stage 4 ( Speaking ) (10-15 minutes) • To practice using vocabulary and relevant language in daily routines context
Form SS into 3-4 groups Ask them to talk about their daily activities and monitor them
