Pick up from previous lesson by discussing and completing LF exercise of cause and effect by creating sentences, Unit 17, Pg 82. WC to confirm

Exposure (10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

Review process of negotiating Unit 18, Pg 85 and elicit words / phrases used during such discussions, incl. body language.

Highlighting (10 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

Unit 18, LF, Pg 86, Q2 on flipchart 1 minute per sentence WC to confirm

Clarification (5 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

On WB, continue adding words, incl. will / would / can / could / might for making proposals + unless = except if

Controlled Practice (10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice
