Warmer/Lead-in (7-15 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

While-Reading/Listening #1 (15-20 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks
T teaches A,B,C,D,E,F read and write. T asks SS to repeat after T. T shows flash carts.
While-Reading/Listening #2 (15-20 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks
T writes numbers on the board. T asks SS to repeat after her. T asks SS to write numbers in order. T asks SS to read the numbers.
Post-Reading/Listening (15-20 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned
