To provide fluency and accuracy speaking practice in a conversation about other person's (people's) life.
Procedure (34-47 minutes)
Change group members.Stick 3 photos ( Istanbul, bus, a language center) on the WB. Tell the sts " I live in Istanbul, I work for a Language Center. I go to work by bus." Show five pictures ( factory, flat, company, on foot, garden ) and give new vocabulary words to the sts. Ask them to match the photos to new words.
Show the chart on the WB. give some words( a shop, a house, my brother, my friends, car, train, my children, a small company, metrobus, tram, a bank, a garden, a restaurant) to the sts. This is a pair work.Give them 2 minutes and then ask them to put these words in the blanks on the chart. The sts will make sentences about them. They can use the phrases from the chart.
Give the sts six sentences and the reading text about four people. The sts will read these six sentences and then read the text. After reading text, the sts will match the sentences to the text and find out that who is speaking. This matching activity is a group work

Write then sentences on the board and ask the sts to chose the correct options, a or b. Give the sts HO. Complete the thext with a verb from the box in the correct form. live (x2) work(x2) go (x1) I (1)…………….with my brother Josh. We (2)……….. in a house. Divide the class into groups of three. Show a demo. Tell a student " I live in Istanbul. I work for a Language Center, I go to work by bus." Tell this student to tell another student " She lives in Istanbul. She works for a Language Center. She goes to work by bus." Tell the sts to do this exercise with their sentences about their life. Finish the lesson by giving error correction.
