Procedure (33-43 minutes)
In the beginning, the teacher will show on the WB some videos. After the Ss have watched the videos, the teacher will tell them to discuss in pairs and describe their feelings after they have watched the videos. The teacher will give an example on what things they can say when they discuss. "I was very annoyed when I saw the little boy smoking. I wish he wouldn't smoke". The Ss will have 1 minute to discuss.
At this point, the teacher will give Ss some pictures and some words. The teacher will tell Ss they have to match the words with the correct picture. The Ss will be given 2 minutes to match the words with the pictures. The Ss will work in groups. When they finish matching, both of the groups will be told to stand up and check how the other group has matched the words. After this, the teacher will project the correct answers on the WB.
During this stage, the teacher will use 3 model sentences to clarify and write/stick the sentences to the whiteboard. The sentences are: That noise is starting to annoy me. That noise is really annoying. I'm getting really annoyed by that noise. The teacher will ask Ss if they notice something when reading those sentences.
In this stage, the teacher will give Ss HO. Firstly, the teacher will tell Ss they will work individually trying to find the correct answers and then work in pairs to check together. The Ss will have 2 minutes to work individually. After 2 minutes, Ss will be told to check in pairs for another 2 minutes. After they have finished checking in pairs, Ss will be asked to come to the board and write the answers.
In this stage the Ss will be split into 3 groups of 4 to 5 depending on the number of Ss in the classroom. The teacher will give Ss circles and they will choose 3 circles out of 6 to talk about within their own groups. After they have discussed for 5 minutes within their groups, Ss will be asked to choose one representative from each group. The person chosen as a representative will change group. They will be told to move to the next group and tell that group what they discussed in his or her original group. The teacher will give Ss 5 to 7 minutes to talk with each other depending on how much time will be left.
