By the end of this class students will know how to make questions using auxiliaries and will have a review on present and past tenses.
Subsidiary Aims

To help students practice and speaking with focus on question forms with auxiliary verbs. To help students practice the pronunciation of contractions.
Procedure (30-42 minutes)
Ask Students questions about myself, and then move on to elicit the parts of the sentence and auxiliary verbs and their use.
Teacher will ask the students to dictate the auxiliary words and will write the auxiliary words on the board Teacher will draw the auxiliary and question word table on the board (grammar box) and explain students about making questions in simple past and present tense using auxiliaries. It will be interactive with students as teacher will write one example on board in the grammar box and then will elicit others from the student using the auxiliaries on the board.
Students will be given the hand outs and asked to write atleast 3 question in present and past columns and (optional) then they will use this sheet to interview their class-mates
Ask random students to read one of their question
students will listen to a audio clip and fill the blanks in the hand out.
Teacher will check the students answer for the activity 2 and explain them the further more leading to pronunciation and exercise
Teacher will write some pair of words on the white board and the students will write the answer to the words and pronounce it
