Procedure (22-30 minutes)
I will ask the students: Have you got any friends? How many friends have you got ? Do you know all of them well?
I will explain to the students that: In this conversation a girl called Rose is calling her friends to invite them to the cinema. Read and listen to Rose speaking to four friends and determine which friend doesn't she know very well.
I will ask the students to: read the conversation again, look at the highlighted useful phrases and find what each point requires. I will ask them to check their answers together. I will give them the feedback.
I will use flashcards to clarify the meaning and the form. Then, I will ask them to listen to the recording and repeat the useful phrases.
I will ask them to choose the correct answer.
I will ask the students to work with their partners to write a conversation based on the mentioned situation.
