Procedure

Pre-Reading (3-5 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

T aks students questions. " Have you ever bought something just because of an advert? when?" " are there any adverts which you particularly dislike? which ones? why?" " can you think of a memorable advert and describe it?" Whole class discussion

While-Reading (5-7 minutes) • To provide students with specific information reading

T chests handouts T gives instructions. " read the texts individually and answer the true or false questions" T asks students to check in pairs.

While-Reading (3-5 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading tasks

Post-Reading (teach vocabulary) (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to understand the part of speech and meaning of the blocking vocabulary.

Part 1. T writes on the white board 8 words. T gives instructions. " place these words under the right categorization, either adjectives or nouns". T asks students to check in pairs. whole class correction. Part 2. T chests handouts T gives instructions. " with your partner, match the words with the right definitions. you have 4 minutes." whole class correction. part 3. T gives instructions. " use these words in making your own sentences.. you have 3 minutes."
