Procedure (34-40 minutes)
T shows 2 pictures and asks ss "what are they doing ? they are sailing " /" what is it doing ? it is flying "
T asks ss to put the lyrics in order before listening ss listen twice and correct their answers T asks ss to underline the verbs in the song
T draws a time line to clarify meaning and ask CCQs T clarifies pronunciation of contracted forms T clarifies affirmative/ negative form from the marker sentence. " I'm sailing" " I'm not sailing"
SS complete the missing verbs through picture prompts ss work in pairs T provides correct answers
