I will start my reading lesson by: pre-reading task: I will ask them to have a quick look at the text to know a general idea of it only and ask them to discuss together what does it talking about? then I will make a matching task for the things which I think they won't know its meaning then if they still don't know the meaning of any word I will start to explain it. While reading task: I will ask my students to read the text carefully for more detail information to be able to answer more detailed tasks and of course, they going to answer, check in pairs then feedback. Finally, post reading I will ask my students to write some sentences related to the subject I will give them time to write it then start to make an open discussion together to achieve the sub aim which is speaking.

I will ask the students to have a quick look at the text (skimming) to know its general idea. *ICQS: -Are you going to read every single word in the text or just knowing the general idea about the topic? general idea. (i will give them 1 minute for skimming). - I will ask my students to discuss together if the author was a male or female, young or middle-aged? and why they think this? and if they agree with he/she or not and do you think he/she is living in the past or old fashion? I will give them some time to prepare their notes to help them to discuss this question while speaking. an example if I need to demonstrate with it: * For me, I think the writer is a man, men are interested in technology more than women, and playing video games and stuff like that. I know we can find women also like these things but not as much as men. Women like to watch cooking programs from their view point and Turkish series. Men find it very boring so they prefer surfing the internet more than watching T.V and of course, they will need to call the call center for solving the internet connection complaints especially if they are participants in TE data company in Egypt. I think his age between 30 and 35 and he tried all these devices before and wasted a lot of time and after realizing the importance of every single moment he wanted to increase the awareness of the youth to use technology in a useful way and not to let it control our lives or being an addict for it. *I will ask the students to choose a piece of technology that they are using every day and discuss with their partners how does it affect negatively and positively in their lives. I will give them some times to set some notes in case they need it, then open a discussion in pairs with their partners.
