In this lesson, students will learn how to make a list of differences between the description in the passage and the picture by using three kinds of reading.The lesson starts with describing two pictures of two different cafes eliciting what they represent.Having students generate the ideas about differences between the two cafes and giving description to each one.Afterthat, T. asks students to match some new words with their definations.Tasks Ss to read the passage to find differences between the picture of Paradiso Coffee Bar and the description in the passageAfter that the ss will practice speaking about goals for the future. the lesson will end with a speaking exercise about how to improve this cafe..Finally, there is some free practice.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Introduce the topic:Looking at two pictures of two cafes and asking them to say what the differences between two pictures are.These differences may be in bar area ,equipment,decoration and furniture.T uses CCqs to elicit answers.Ss work in pairs and discuss. Write their feedback on the board for later to be used.

Pre-Reading/Listening (3-5 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

The next stage is the teacher pre-teaches some vocabulary before the students read the text for the first time.teacher asks the students to work in pairs to match the words and pictures. The teacher checks the answers as whole class

While-Reading/Listening #2 (7-10 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading tasks

.Introduce students to the Paradiso Coffee Bar and draw students' attention to picture.Elicit one or two descriptions.Refer students to the example before they read the text to find differences.Students compare their lists in pair and then as a whole class.

Post-Reading/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned
