Procedure (37-55 minutes)
T greets SS .T will ask Ss to discuss any mysterious events happened to them and don't find an explanation. This will be in pairs or groups. T will listen to some of them.
SS will be asked to check the words in the box by matching the word with its meaning. this will be in pairs then the WCFB. Then they will discuss the pictures . After that they will listen to part A of the story to answer the gist question" Is the story about a- life in hotels b- Clara's disappearance c- a mental asylum? .then answer the questions for scanning.. SS will do individually then check in pairs.T gives WCFB.
T highlights the target language by asking SS to answer the questions in the HO. T gives SS 5 minutes to do the exercise. SS check their answers and the teacher gives feedback. WCFB
T will clarify meaning form and pronunciation by guided discovery sheet. Ss will do individually then check in pairs .T will elicit any errors to correct.in WCFB. For pronunciation stage T will write the sentences on the WB and show the stress and intonation . T will elicite the answers.
T will give SS an EX to choose the correct alternative then listen and check . SS will do this Ex individually then check in pairs. T will give WCFB.
