Procedure (32-45 minutes)
I will start the lesson by telling Ss about my weekend, I ask them, in pairs, to talk about their weekends.What do you like to do on your weekends?
Ss discuss in pairs what they did last week end and how did they feel?. (ICQs) Are you discussing alone? I will get their (FB).
I will give Ss a handout to ask and answer questions, in pairs, about themselves (last Weekend). I will get their (FB). I will ask them question to elicit the target target language. Was Friday night boring or exciting? Were you bored or excited?
I will give Ss a hand out to clarify and highlight the target language.
I will elicit 2 sentences including adjectives ending with (ed and ing). I will analyse the two sentences clarifying that (adj + ed) modifies a person whereas (adj+ ing) modifies a thing. I will explain how (ed) is pronounced /t/ or /d/. ex. depressed , excited /t/ /ɪd/
I will give Ss a handout,SB, P. 33, telling them to answer alone. (ICQs) Are you going to answer alone or in pairs? Ss check in pairs. I will get (FB)
In groups, Ss will discuss how they spend their weekends and their feelings. I will get (wc-FB)
