To practice object pronouns in a context of Reading conversations.

To provide phone language vocabulary in a context of reading phone conversation.
Procedure (45-55 minutes)
T does a revision for what they have studies at the previous two lessons to create a link to this lesson. Focus on the objective pronouns & elicit examples.
_ Start by activating ss schemata for background knowledge. Set up the context. _ Elicit predictions about reading text. Use PPT. Drill the blocking vocabulary. _ monitor & circulate
_ Set the task for reading for gist, give the handouts Ex3a, give them time to read the questions silently. SS work alone. _ Tell them to read "sally's phone" & answer the questions. Ex3.a _ Ss then compare their answers in pair, give wc feedback. _ monitor & circulate.
_ SS read for more specific details _ Tell the ss that this a conversation on Sally's & Paul's phones _ Ss read Ex3c & get the answer from the second part of the reading " afternoon" _ have them pair check, give feed back, monitor _ remind ss of the subject pronouns & the possessive adjectives. _ get them to do Ex3d in pairs, check with another pair . _ Monitor
_ Ex3e. _Give blank paper for the ss, let them read & find the phrases related to phone & phoning. Have them underline them then put them all in the white paper centered by a phone drawing. They put it up the board . Get feed back . GW. _ Monitor.
