Procedure (44-56 minutes)
Show picture of Diego and Grace ask learners where they are. Elicit answers. Check whole class from PPT.
Read the information on the chart; listen and fill in. Pair-check. Whole class feedback through PPT.
Answer questions. Choose a friend and throw the ball to her/him. Pair -check. Whole class feedback through PPT.
Have Ss to guess/practice the meaning of TL. Give feedback. Have Ss to formulate/ understand/practice the form of TL. Have Ss to practice/review the pronunciaotion of TL.Drill this.
Give Ss profile cards and a list of traits. Explain them, each trait belongs to different people. So they should check these with different people. Go around the class and ask about the traits on your list and answer about your profile card.
Show 5 pictures one by one on the board through PPT. Tell them to work in pairs, give 2 minutes for each picture. Ask them to predict/guess about country, age, job of the people in the pictures.
Write on the board"Change your seats if you are (from Bursa).Set the rules;give one statement, stand up and change your seat if the statement is true( relevant) for you. If the statement is ture for you, you have to move and change your seat. If you cannot find a chair, you are in the middle and you have to give a new statement. Ask Ss to take their chair and make a circle and sit down. Give one statement and make them change their seats.
