Procedure (59-82 minutes)
I will intoduce myself to the students. Ask students to tell me what the previous class was about. I will give them a minutes to think about one question to ask about me. I will ask them to ask questions to practice wh questions then I will answer each question individually.
I will ask the students to choose either family member or a friend and write two things about the person they chose. I ask CCQs about the task. " who are we going to write about? are we going to tell about both family and friends? how many things will you write about your family member or friend? I will ask them to work in pairs and every student tell his/her partner about the person they wrote about and vice versa. They will listen to each other.
I will explain to the learners that we are going to listen to four different conversations. I will play the recording and ask them to listen to each conversation carefully. The first time they listen and take notes. I will ask them to get in a group of four people. I will hand out the four pictures from page 38 and small papers with conversation numbers.
I will hand S exercise number 2 in listening page 38, then they will listen to the conversation once again. I will ask S to answer do Choose the correct answer S will do peer checking then whole class feedback.
I will give S the recording script and they will be asked to fill in the gapes the questions in the box or repeat the same works mentioned in the previous sentences. I will ask S to drill some of the expression with correct intonation to show intrest. S will have 2 minutes to think about one of their family or friends. then everyone will share and show intrest in pairs
