Procedure (33-43 minutes)
T shows quickly one piece of flash card and asks what it is. T gets feedback and tells that they are going to study musical instruments. T pairs up Ss and ask them to think of other musical instruments. T gets feedback.
T shows the flashcards and check their pronunciation and spelling
T plays guessing game with the Ss Ss acts out as if they are playing the instrument the teacher tells or shows T groups the students and deliver the pictures of the instruments As the T calls out one word, they point or hold the relevant picture. T plays the sound of the instrument and they point to the instrument.
T asks what sound they like most and they talk in their groups
T reflects the picture of the group and asks some questions Ss scan the short text and answer the questions T delivers the photocopied version and asks them to complete the blanks T plays the audio and they listen to check their answer
T explains that they are going to form a band T regroups the students and hands out the piece of paper with the words on them. Ss draw the picture of the instrument. T practice the model with whole class T gives some preparation time to students and when they are ready they act their roles out.
