Procedure (45-59 minutes)

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

By giving some examples about the latest actions I have done

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

By asking students to mention some actions they have done recently

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

By showing students a chart that contains some countries that some people have gone to recently then encouraging them to use this chart to speak in the present perfect tense

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

By asking some CCQs that can simplify the meaning of the present perfect using the previous chart . Then eliciting the pattern of it . finally focusing on the different pronunciations of HAVE .

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

By asking SS to answer the exercise page 38 in Student's book then I ask them to work in pairs comparing their answers .

Semi-Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice

By asking SS to work in pairs speaking a bout actions they really have done recently .

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

By asking SS to write down 6 sentences they have done recently .
