Description
In this lesson the students will learn about how to form the comparative phrases and use it.They start the lesson with warm up activity where they give some background information about the cities in the picture. Then they listen to audio which talked about the changes which happened to these cities.After that,they will move to exercise number three and answer it and check their answers in pairs then listen again to the audio.S's will move to analysis part and match the adjectives with the prepositions which regarded as controlled practice . Fainlly they will move to free practice and form their own sentences by using comparative expressions and discuss it in groups.

To provide specific information through listening practice using a text about Describing towns and cities in the context of Cities before and after the changing.

Procedure (19-29 minutes)
Warm up (3-5 minutes) • Engage students and active schemata
Through presenting two pictures,the students will find the lesson more attractive
Listening (4-6 minutes) • Active listening skill
Students will listen to the audio twice
Language analysis (5-7 minutes) • Learn some new lexical structures
Expose the students to comparative phrases through teacher explanation and examples
Controlled practice (3-5 minutes) • Ensure they understand the lesson
Through exercise one and exercise two
Free practice (4-6 minutes) • The ability to use comparative phrases in different situations
Through exercise two, the students will talk about their own experience by using comparative phrases
