Ss are divided into 3 groups depending on the number of ss attending. Each group gets a paragraph about one of three destinations in Britain. SS read text individually for 2 mins and then in their groups match pictures (those of the vocabulary task) to their paragraphs. (2mins) Finally, SS report to the others what their city is and what it is known for using pictures simultaneously.

While-Listening (10-10 minutes) • To provide students with a scan listening task.

Ss read questions first. Check if all questions are understood. SS listen. Check if they need to listen again. Peer check. Display answerkey with OHP.

Productive skill (12-12 minutes) • To provide ss with an opportunity to respond to the texts.

SS work in groups to choose a place to spend the weekend at and discuss questions in the sheets. Ss form new groups and take it in turns to report to the others.

Delayed feedback and round-up (3-3 minutes) • Deal with ss errors.

Write examples of good ss' language on the W/B. Write examples of errors and work with the ss to improve them.
