Procedure (25-45 minutes)
I will bring some realia. These are some fruits, a plate and a knife. I will act in order to get them interested in the topic. Also, this helps to initiate using some vocabulary words( fruit) and some functional phrases like'' You need.."'
I will ask students to look at some pictures and to distinguish countable and uncountable ones. Also, they will be given an activity about this grammar. Furthermore, I will ask students to look at some pictures and to add quantifiers like ( a, an, some, number). They will be given an activity to do about this grammar.
I will ask students to read a passage and to answer some questions. When they finish, they will check their answers with members of their groups. Then, students will do two gap-filling activities. They will be asked to work in groups. I will show them the correct answers.
Students will be asked to write about their favourite dishes. They will read each other's paragraphs as soon as they finish in order to correct any mistakes.
