Main Aims

  • To provide clarification of Adverbs in the context of Doing activities

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide accuracy speaking practice in a Debate in the context of Hobbies

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T will greet ss, she will ask for their homework and will check them. Afterwards, T will review the last session's grammar by doing the remaining task.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

After reviewing, T will try to explain the new grammar by telling ss to read and do the new task. After the ss are done T will explain them the new grammar.

Useful Language (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

T will play the ss a video related to the grammar. T will ask them questions about the video and the grammar. Ss will be given some cards, similar to playing a game.

Productive Task(s) (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

After recieving the cards, T will read students some sentences and they will write down the answer. For rewarding ss, T will give them chocholates and positive marks.

Feedback and Error Correction (8-10 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

Ss will show T the answers and T will explain them their mistakes, if needed, T will review the lesson again so that the ss get the point completely.
