The teacher asks students about the picture on page 10, She writes the questions on the board and asks Ss to work in pairs, the questions being: What is written on the board above Suzy and Bill? what do you think the show is about? who is the host and who are the contestants? Then the teacher elicits the meaning of the words contestant and host from Ss and monitors the Ss as they are working.
The teacher explains that Ss are supposed to listen to the audio and check yes or no to the host's questions according to the answers of Suzy and Bill. Then she uses ICQs to make sure Ss know what to do. Finally The T wants them to check their answers with a partner and she writes the correct answers on the board.
The teacher explains that Ss are going to listen again and now answer 4 questions in exercise B. Then she wants them to discuss their answers in groups of 3 or 4. Finally the T asks one student who thinks all his/her answers are right to read them aloud.
The teacher asks Ss to read the discussion question and in their previous groups of 3 or 4 talk about it. the teacher will monitor the Ss and she finally joins in their discussion and asks more questions to make it more interesting.
