T uses miming, too. T: The word is 'connect'. Today we will connect two sentences to each other. T: The classroom is hot, why? (shows the air-conditioner) S: Because.... You see now, you connected two sentences now.
T first shows the papers and gives the instruction about the activity. T: Now with your groups, you will complete sentences with matching in two minutes. Ok, Ravza ı want you to discuss your answers with another group. ..... and you also do the same thing in two groups. 'You checked your answers. Are your answers the same?' 'Now look at the board and match the sentences and the speech bubbles.' Look at the board and check your answers.
T shows the HO's and gives instructions about it. T: In the previous lesson, you read the story of '1001 Nights '. Right? Remember it and choose the correct word and circle it in 2 minutes. Two minutes later, 'Check your answers with the group you are sitting ' in one minute. The answers are on the board.
'Now Ravza can you come here. Show me how to you brush your teeth?' Sit down please. !Now what was ı doing ?' T shows the student and herself to make them remember the actions and elicit the asnwer from them. While (raising my intonation )ı was drawing, she was brushing her teeth. 'Ravza come here again and do the same thing please.' T acts as if she was knocking the door. and make them to make a sentence.
T points the picture. Elicit answers from the learners. 'Look at the picture', ' What is it about?' ' Do you know this fairy tale?' 'When we think a story who !! comes to your mind ?' 'What else?'
'Work in pairs'. 'You have twelve minutes.' 'Now look at that picture and write a story about ' Little Red Riding Hood. Don't forget to use connecting words!'
The teacher asks the learners to stick their pieces of writing on the walls all around the classroom so that their peers can read and decide who had the most exciting holiday. In the end, the teacher draws their attention to some of the points she has taken a note of including either their mistakes or the useful language they used in their writing. 'Have you finished writing ?' 'So now ı will put them on the wall, read other groups story . If you like the story, put tick with this board marker' 'I will choose the best one'
T prepares the board for the hangman game.
