Procedure (42-48 minutes)
My name again will be introduced. -Where I am from, -Where I live, -When I was born -I am married with 3 children "Any other questions that you want to know about me?"
SB p.10] The teacher in thinking "the Statue of Liberty in New York" Students have to ask a question to figure out which city the teacher has in mind. The student who said the correct answer first will choose one city which is popular and easy to describe. And students will ask him or her questions so that they can figure out the city. Looking at the photos, students will try to match the things in the picture and the vocabularies in the box. They will learn some new vocabularies such as -statue/canal/square/castle
Students will listen to 4 different conversations. Before they listen to it, they are asked to find the simple 2 answers. 1. "Which of the pictures matches with each dialogues?" 2. "Is the place nice to live or not?" -CD 07 will be played. -ask a student if they want to hear on more time -peer check -FB "What made you thought so?"
-students will listen to CD 7 one more time -they will try to find out the answers on SB p.11 ex2 -FB (check your answers)
On the board " How many" on the one side, on the other side, "How much" is written. The Teacher is going to give some examples for both sides. Each students will try to think of different sentences starting either "How many" or "How much". The sentences that students answer are written on the board and the other students will answer those questions.
-students will be have 2 minute to figure out the Qs on P. 11 Close up 1-3 -peer checking first for 30 seconds -FB -Some pronunciation drilling (1 m)
Everyone will stand up. They will line up. Who is in the first line will ask a question using "How many". Who is at the back of that student will give an answer. The one who answered will ask a Q using "Hos much". and so on...
