Ss look at a picture on OHP and predict information related to the character in the text.

Ss look at pictures on OHP and try to guess the jobs represented. I will use CCQ to check understanding.

I will give 3 sets of pictures and sentences to ss to match. Before they read the text, ss will look at the headline. I will demonstrate the first answers, ask them to read the whole text and match the rest in groups.

Questions will be displayed on the interactive board. I will demo the first two questions with the class then ask them to work in pairs. When they finish, ss check their answers together. An answer key is provided at the end.

I will demo questions and answers, then drill them before putting ss in open pairs.

Students work in pairs and ask each other questions about their lives and/or the job they want to do.
