Procedure (45-55 minutes)
prepare name tents for the ss to write their names ( have one for the teacher) 'Get in line!' the three questions: 1. What's your name? 2. When is your birthday? 3.Who's you favorite celebrity?
Ask if any of the students have heard of Jamie Oliver before. exercise 3 (a)+(b) exercise 4 (a)
silent reading for 5 minutes Vocabulary from the text: Celebrity: someone who is famous, especially in the entertainment business. Famous: known and recognized by many people. Chef: a skilled and trained cook who works in a hotel or restaurant, especially the most important cook. - Depending on number of students, they will read out loud (each a paragraph if we have 4 students, if more each can read 3 lines. in groups answer exercise 4 (a) and 4 (b)
Answer question 5 (a) to check if they understood the text and know what it is talking about.
