Procedure (37-48 minutes)
-Show the picture. Elicit from Ss the place "Newsagent`s" -Ask Ss what things do they see in the picture. Give HO-1. Ss look at picture at circle the words that they find -Elicit the answers
-Ask Ss to walk in the class, find the words and stick them to slide-2 -Provide the form and drill the pronunciation of some words. *[Matching the words with pictures will already give Ss the meaning of the vocabulary[ **[Stick the words in different part of the class before the lesson. Before the activity show a model]
-Give Ss HO-2 and put Ss in group three. -Ss works in group and write the missing letters. -Feedback -Ss come on the broad (each from the groups) and write the answers under the picture.
-Show Slide-1 again. Set the listening clearly that Alex and Martina are in the newsagent`s. -Give HO-3. -Ss listen to the dialogue and tick the words that they hear. Feedback 1 peer-checking 2- WC F/B
-Ss listen again and put the phrases in the correct order. Feedback. 1st- Peer-checking 2nd- Students stick the sentences on the board in correct order. *If Ss do not understand or it is necessary play the record twice and get them listen again.
-Give Ss HO4 -Ss fill the gaps with the words in the box and decide which is used for saying what you want and which one is for asking for price Feedback 1st- Peer-checking 2nd-write the answers on the board elicit the functional language. *If there is extra time give HO-6. Ss must complete the gaps and find the price of the post cards.
-Role play in the newsagent`s -Put students in pairs A/B and give picture-A and picture-B to the Students A/B. -S-A is a shop assistant, S-B is a customer. -Ss talk and buy things in the pictures. Then they count how much money they spend. *[T can do demo y by using slide-4 to set up this activity.] -Monitor take notes to piece of paper for delayed error correction.
